Learning needs to happen in different ways so we use various strengths and resources to engage with the world around us.

There are four main types of learning opportunities at MC2: personal life experiences, learning studios, treks, and citizenship internships. As students take more ownership of their learning and become more self-directed, they are encouraged to design learning opportunities for themselves and for others, in collaboration with a faculty member. Ultimately, students become fluent in using the design tool to create their own learning opportunities.

Initiatives such as Extended Learning Opportunities (NH) and Expanded Learning Opportunities (RI) are modeled after this "everytime/everywhere" learning. Numerous ELO practices have been collected in our partner website: BeyondClassroom.org.
